PSU joins AINU consortium, strengthening academic ties and collaboration among ASEAN member states and India

On November 13, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, PSU President, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Janya Chanchaichujit, Assistant President for Promotion of Foreign Affairs, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nalanda University, Republic of India. This agreement marked PSU's inclusion in the ASEAN-India Network of Universities Consortium (AINU-Consortium). The signing ceremony was held at the President's Office Building, PSU Hat Yai Campus, and was simultaneously conducted online via Zoom.

The AINU-Consortium serves as a dynamic academic network, uniting institutions from ASEAN member states with esteemed partners in India. Hosted by Nalanda University in the Republic of India, the consortium aspires to foster collaboration across diverse fields, including Engineering, Science and Technology, Policy and Legislation, Trade and Investment, Peace and Security, Sustainable Development, Humanities, Religion, Cultural Connectivity, and the Blue Economy.

The signing of the MoU marks a significant milestone for PSU, reinforcing its ties with institutions in the Republic of India and paving the way for future collaborations. This partnership is poised to promote academic exchanges, foster joint research initiatives, and strengthen cooperation between PSU and its Indian counterparts.

Furthermore, PSU's participation in the AINU-Consortium will open doors to active involvement in collaborative projects that drive knowledge creation and innovation. This milestone further solidifies PSU's position as a prominent contributor to global academic and research networks.
