An honorable delegation from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was introduced to the PSU President by the Director of the PSU Halal Institute on 28 February 2022. The auspicious occasion was part of the delegation’s visit to Thailand to foster cooperation with various organizations in the wake of the successful restoration of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Saudi Arabia.

        The delegates expressed gratitude to the President for PSU’s continued support and focus on Halal activities. After stating bilateral support for Halal-related matters, future plans for collaborative international seminars, exhibitions, and academic conferences were discussed.

       Prince of Songkla University has in turn assured the delegation of the university’s readiness to promote cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various fields, including research, higher education, staff and student exchange, and public health.
