SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) 2021 results show that PSU’s standing in Thailand has improved in research and innovation.

       In its overall rankings of universities, SIR 2021 placed PSU #5 in the country and #717 in the world. In Innovation and Research, PSU reached 5th and 6th place in the country respectively, signifying an improvement over last year’s 8th place in Innovation and 7th in Research.

       Other fields where PSU has achieved excellent ranking in Thailand are:

Business, Management, and Accounting: #3
Dentistry: #3
Physics and Astronomy: #3
Psychology: #4

       SIR ranks international research institutions, not only universities, but also specialized institutions such as institutes of technology, colleges, hospitals, and research institutes, in terms of their innovation output (PATSTAT), research performance (SCOPUS), and societal impact based on web presence (Altmetrics, Google).
