Prince of Songkla University President Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Kaewpradub congratulated PSU students who received National Outstanding Awards in cooperative and work-integrated education in 2020 and 2021 by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, as announced on Sunday, June 6, 2021.

       From a total of six awards and runner-up awards in the lower South, five were given to PSU students for their excellent work, detailed below.

1.Ms. Nichaya Ketsawangwong, alumna of the Faculty of Industrial Science and Technology, Surat Thani Campus, received National Secondary Excellence Award 2020 in Science and Technology, for her work “Factors affecting the splitting of Sapele veneer after surface lamination of medium-density fiberboard”.

2.Ms. Pitchpanita Gumponpathdechatorn, alumna of the Faculty of Science, Hat Yai Campus, received National Outstanding Award 2020 for her work “Bellow Inner Diameter Weld Inspection”.

3.Mr. Dechapon Sapaphan, a student of the Faculty of Engineering, Hat Yai Campus, received National Outstanding Award 2021 for his work “PRE-B: Mobile Precast Beam Solution”.

4.Mr. Asia Wayayo and Ms. Nurmah Chapakiya, students of the Faculty of Political Science, Pattani Campus, received National Outstanding Award 2021 for their work “Booklet for Thai Nationals in Southern India, and Registration Platforms for the Repatriation Flight and its Database.”
