In its latest global ranking of quality universities, Shanghai Ranking Consultancy, PRC, has placed Prince of Songkla University among top-ranking universities worldwide.

       The ranking agency’s Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) placed PSU #3 in the country and #801-900 in the world. In addition, the agency’s 2021 edition of Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) has placed PSU in excellent position in the following three subjects:

       Food Science & Technology, #201-300 in the world, #1 in the country, shared with Kasetsart University;

       Biotechnology, ranked #401-500 in the world, #1 in the country, shared with Chulalongkorn University and Mahidol University;

       Veterinary Sciences, ranked #201-300 in the world, co-ranked #5 in the country.

       The agency’s ranking methodology utilizes objective academic indicators and third-party data to measure the performance of world universities in relevant subjects, including research output, research influence, international collaboration, research quality, and international academic awards.
