On March 22, 2019, the honorable Consul/Head of Mission Mr. Fachry Sulaiman, and distinguished delegates from the Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in Songkhla paid a visit to PSU and met Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, PSU President, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Vice President for International Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kua-Anan Techato, Chairperson of Sustainable Energy Management PhD & Master’s Programs. The aims of this visit was to discuss future collaboration between PSU and the Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in Songkhla, especially on water resources management, along with the possibility to establish cooperation with the Asia Pacific Centre for Ecohydrology (APCE). As the honorable Mr. Fachry noted: “PSU has become a top choice university among Indonesian students. Therefore, the Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in Songkhla is willing to cooperate with PSU to develop the academic skills of staff and students, and to promote joint research in various areas, which will bring mutual benefits to PSU and Indonesian universities, and to our countries.”
