Lecturers from the PSU Faculty of Engineering and College of Computing (Phuket Campus) were invited to participate in the ASEAN-ROK Enhancing Tertiary Engineering Education Programme at Singapore Polytechnic, February 18-28, 2019. The program was honored by the attendance of His Excellency Ahn Young-jip, Ambassador, Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Singapore, and Ms. Rodora Turalde-Babaran, Director of Human Development Directorate, ASEAN Secretariat. The 10-day program was intended to share with participating Institutes of Higher Learning from all ASEAN Member States an internationally recognized Conceive – Design – Implement – Operate (CDIO) Framework. This framework allows institutions to design new learning experiences and approaches to engineering assessments, as well as enhance the engineering curriculum. The program also serves as a platform to promote greater cross-cultural understanding among faculty members, and to create opportunities for collaborations.
