Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattara Aiyarak, Vice President for Global Relations and Informatics, said that PSU has contacted Google Thailand Company, one of the most influential electronic media in the world, to film and record PSU's routes in Hat Yai Campus first, and later in the other campuses, in order to enable Google Street View at PSU. The technology, used for Google Maps, allows users to see a virtual image of the university from around the world through the electronic media.

The officers from PSU Organisational Relations Office welcomed and facilitated the company’s team to make the necessary recordings for this purpose, as one of the advocates of the university’s policy for making known PSU worldwide.

At present, people around the world can see various points around PSU Hat Yai Campus via Google Street View, as for example the street in front of the campus, statue of HRH Prince Mahidol, reservoir, Faculty of Dentistry, Computer Center, Sports Complex, Pumpkin Building, museum, Rong Chang (elephant) canteen, Faculty of Natural Resources, etc. Moreover, now Google Street View is working on the routes in Pattani, Phuket, Surat Thani and Trang campuses.
