On June 28, 2013, PSU received the visit of eight distinguished delegates from Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Indonesia, led by Prof. Dr. Sutarmo, Vice President. The objectives of their visit were to discuss about the management and benchmarking of PSU, as well as to strengthen cooperation between universities on ASEAN Community framework.

Mr. Heru Wicaksono, Indonesian Consul in Songkhla, and his team honored PSU by accompanying the UNS visitors. Our visitors were warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Amornrat Phongdara, PSU Vice President for International Affairs, Dr. Paphavee Van Dommelen, PSU Assistant President for International Affairs and Foreign Students, and PSU International Affairs representatives.

During the welcoming meeting, all participants discussed about the possible future collaboration between UNS and PSU such as: research collaboration, students exchange, internships, double degree programs, and in the area of agriculture related to the preservation of endangered species.
