PSU had the great honor of receiving His Excellency Mr. James Wise, Australian Ambassador to Thailand, on August 5, 2013. The objective of His Excellency’s visit was to discuss the actual and future cooperation among the Australian Embassy, educational institutions in Australia and PSU. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, PSU President, and team warmly welcomed His Excellency and entourage at the President’s Office Building, Hat Yai Campus.

H.E. also joined the PSU World Ranking Driving Workshop hosted by PSU on August 5, and thoughtfully delivered an opening address for this event. The workshop was conducted by Prof. Robyn Owens, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research from the University of Western Australia, in cooperation with the PSU Research and Development Office. Furthermore, H.E. and entourage visited the PSU Business Incubation Center and discussed strengthening mutually beneficial collaborations with the Australian Embassy.

Moreover, on August 6, Australian Embassy’s representatives gave a valuable presentation on the Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships offered by the Australian Education International (AEI), the international representative of the Australian Government’s Department of Education.
