Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), in cooperation with Hat Yai city municipality, organized the charity event "Walk & Spin Rally for Nepal" on May 5, 2015. In addition to donating individually, participants raised money for earthquake victims in Nepal by walking and cycling together for a distance of four kilometers from the courtyard statue of Prince Mahidol of Songkla, PSU, to Sanehanusorn Road, in front of Lee Garden Plaza Hotel, downtown Hat Yai.

A talk show about the story of Nepal, a lecture on earthquakes and a music show complemented the fundraising event. Altogether, "Walk & Spin Rally for Nepal" successfully raised 347,110.75 baht, in addition to the generous donations to the "PSU for Disaster Relief" bank account amounting to 328,236.34 baht as of May 6.
