Topuniversities.com by QS Quacquarelli Symonds Ltd. has announced the 2015 results of QS World University Rankings by Subject in 36 subjects, on April 29, 2015. Five ASEAN countries were ranked in the top 400 worldwide, including Singapore (33 subjects), Malaysia (26 subjects), Thailand (19 subjects), Philippines (8 subjects) and Indonesia (6 subjects). In Thailand, ranked institutions include Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Chiang Mai University, Kasetsart University, Prince of Songkla University, Thammasat University, Asian Institute of Technology, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi.

Prince of Songkla University (PSU) has been ranked 700th in the world and 142th in Asia. In Agriculture & Forestry, PSU was placed in the range of 151-200, while in Medicine, PSU was ranked in the 301-400 range.
