A group of 26 PSU lecturers, staff and students visited Jiangxi University of Science and Technology (JUST), P.R. China, from 5-18 June 2015, as parts of the academic staff, cultural and graduate exchange programs under the MOU Addendum 2015-2016 between JUST and PSU. PSU delegates were welcomed by Mr. David Liu and Ms. Fiona Lu from JUST International Affairs Office.

Throughout the visit, PSU staff and students had the chance to learn more about China, Chinese traditions and traditional instruments such as ‘Guzheng’, and to improve their spoken Chinese language by communicating with Chinese friends. The PSU lecturers and graduate students from the faculties of Engineering and Management Sciences had the great chance to visit the related faculties, the School of Economic and Management and School of Material and Mechanical Engineering, and enjoyed a warm welcome during their study visit. Also, JUST staff and students arranged sightseeing visits to many historical and cultural sites in Jiangxi and Fujian provinces.

On 16 June 2015, JUST and PSU students made a wonderful cultural performance, which revealed the beauty of the two countries’ cultures. The Cultural Exchange Gala, under the concept of “Long Live the Friendship between China and Thailand”, was very appreciated by the numerous audiences.

This program greatly benefited the participating PSU lecturers, staff and students, and also was the occasion for many Chinese students to know PSU and to express their interest in furthering their studies at our university.
