Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted an audience to representatives from Thai universities that offer scholarships to Cambodian students for furthering their higher-education studies in Thailand. This remarkable event took place at Chitralada Palace on September 28, 2015, and was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, PSU President, representatives from each relevant PSU faculty, and 18 Cambodian students receiving the scholarship and currently studying at PSU.

PSU has participated in the Royal Sponsorship Project in the Kingdom of Cambodia since 2011, when it offered five scholarships to Cambodian students to study for their Bachelor's degree in the fields of Fishery Technology, Biology, Insurance and Risk Management, and Information Technology in three PSU campuses: Hat Yai, Pattani, and Trang.

For this academic year, PSU humbly offered 18 scholarships to Cambodian students to pursue their studies both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in four campuses of PSU in more fields of study, such as Plant Science, Animal Science, Engineering, Medicine, Teaching English as an International Language, Rubber Technology, Applied Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Management, Communication Arts, and Digital Media.
