On January 16, 2015, Assistant Professor Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, Vice President for Planning and Finance, Prince of Songkla University, and Ms. Ann Chaudhry, representative of the US Embassy, co-chaired the opening of the 20/20 Nature Nurture Art Exhibition, organized by the US Embassy in Thailand. Ms. Aphiradee Boonsom, General Manager of Central Festival Hat Yai attended the ceremony as well.
The 20/20 Nature Nurture Art Exhibition raised awareness of our shared environment, while promoting a sustainable future for all. Mr. Hossein Farmani, a famous artist and curator, has selected 40 art pieces from five Thai and five American artists.
This art exhibition was a good opportunity for residents of Songkhla and the neighborhood to witness the art of world-class artists. The event also fostered the realization of our shared responsibilities towards the environment, while strengthening the friendly relations between the people of Thailand and the United States.
