On October 5, 2012, Mr. Supskit Chanlerd and Mr. Atiwat Thongnuan, students from the department of Information and Communication Technology, Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University Hat Yai, won the award for inventing a Thai classical instrument application for PC tablets "Ranaad-Xek", and received HRH Princess Galayani Vadhana Trophy together with 50,000 Baht fom Dr. Plodprasop Suraswadi, Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology of Thailand.
