PSU opens new course “Spa and Wellness for Entrepreneurs”, first in the lower South

 

     On 23 February 2023, the PSU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, together with the Southern Wellness Business Club (Lower Region), held a press conference to launch the 100-hour course “Spa and Wellness for Entrepreneurs”. It is the first course in the lower southern region to produce personnel skilled in spa services in order to meet the needs of the country's spa labor market. The press conference on PSU’s Hat Yai campus was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirilak Bangchokdee, PSU Assistant President for Academic Affairs, accompanied by Asst. Prof. Dr. Cherdchai Udomphan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Mr. Pararat Grunsuksi, Vice President of the Southern Wellness Business Club (Lower Region).

       The course, certified by the Department of Health Service Support, Ministry of Public Health, started in March 2023, with training activities taking place from Monday to Saturday (15 days) in an on-site format at the Science Education and Research Center Building, 8th floor, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus.
