PSU participated in the 6th KKU-PSU-CMU meeting, exchanging knowledge, fostering higher education

       PSU, led by Acting President Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, participated in the 6th KKU-PSU-CMU Meeting, hosted by Khon Kaen University. A total of 536 participants, including executives, faculty members, and supporting staff from the three titular universities, have attended the event at the Grand Orchid Ballroom, Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid Hotel, Muang district, Khon Kaen province.

       The meeting started with the signing of an MoU, declaring the intent of the three universities to support and develop cooperation on various issues, including research management and graduate studies, teaching and developing students, human resource management and staff development, planning and development, budgeting, revenue generation, academic quality assessment and institutional quality assurance, alongside encouraging staff of the three universities to work towards cooperation.

 

       The event was held from 30 November to 1 December 2022, and was honored by Dr. Suvit Maesincee, former Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, as a guest speaker holding a special lecture on the topic of "University in the Future". Subsequent group discussion sessions allowed participants to share knowledge and expertise on the following eight topics:


1) Research Utilization (Venture Capital /Spin-off Company/Holding Company)
2) Corporate Cost Management under Crisis and Challenges
3) Corporate Management Group in Various Generations
4) New Generation Student Development
5) The Future of Higher Education after COVID-19
6) Organizational Change Management Leading to Digital Transformation
7) Academic Honesty
8) Digital Library

       Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, Acting President of PSU, together with Assoc. Prof. Prasert Rerkkriangkrai, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, and Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University, also discussed the policies and direction of each university, sharing experiences and successes in conducting activities at the Faculty of Dentistry of the three universities. The meeting was concluded by a flag presentation ceremony for Chiang Mai University, the host of the next event.
