One lecturer and 15 students from the International Relations Department of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Indonesia made a study visit to PSU on November 30, 2015. The objectives of their visit were to get more information on study at PSU and to share about Thai and Indonesian cultures.
The UMM delegates were warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pipat Chooto, Assistant President for Public Relations; Asst. Prof. Nisita Bumrungwong, Director of the PSU Arts and Cultural Center; and the PSU International Affairs representatives.
During the meeting, the distinguished visitors were interested in learning more on various topics such as, programs of study at PSU, scholarships for foreign students, as well as cultural differences between different regions of Thailand and uniqueness of the Thai boxing and food.
Moreover, the UMM guests met with the international students at PSU, members of the PSU International Students Association, and performed a Cultural Exchange, which included three fascinating traditional Indonesian dances, demonstrating the beauty of their culture.
