On 8 August 2024, PSU Vice President for Academic and International Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot and team welcomed a delegation from the French Embassy in Thailand, led by Dr. Xavier Grosmaitre, Scientific and Higher Education Attaché. The reception took place at the Learning Resources Center on PSU’s Hat Yai Campus. The distinguished delegates met the university’s administration and engaged in productive discussions with faculty members, academics, and researchers regarding collaboration with French academic institutions. Additionally, Dr. Grosmaitre delivered a lecture on the topic "Scholarships and Fellowships in France" to onsite attendees and via Zoom.
On the same day, Campus France Thailand organized a lecture titled “Study in France and Scholarship Opportunities”, presented by Ms. Sujira Panyawattana, Education Consultant of Campus France Thailand, at the Learning Resources Center. The lecture attracted a large audience comprised of PSU students and high school students from Hat Yai district.
The two events marked another milestone in the long and productive relationship between PSU and French institutions.
