PSU student selected for AUN Summer Camp 2024

On 7 August 2024, the PSU Faculty of Medicine organized its 39th Annual Academic Conference, themed 'Seamless Futuristic Medicine,' which spanned from August 7 to 9, 2024. During the event, Dr. Prakob Luechakiettisak, M.D., a renowned surgeon from Surat Thani Hospital, was honored with the 2024 Outstanding Southern Doctor Award. The award plaque was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Kaewpradub, President of PSU, while the accompanying cash prize was awarded by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kittipong Riabroy, M.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, in a ceremony held at the Thongchan Hongladarom Room, PSU Faculty of Medicine.

 The program aims to equip students from the ASEAN region with the knowledge and skills needed to become future leaders. Participants will gain insights into the region's economic development while exploring the unique identities, cultures, and histories of various ASEAN countries.

 A total of 37 students from the five campuses of PSU have been selected to participate in the program. These students have traveled to various universities across the seven participating countries, including:

  • National University of Singapore (NUS), Republic of Singapore
  • Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Brunei Darussalam
  • Ateneo de Manila University (AdmU) & De La Salle University (DLSU), Republic of the Philippines
  • Chulalongkorn University and Mahidol University, Thailand
  • Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM), Socialist Republic of Vietnam
  • Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Republic of Indonesia
  • Universiti Malaya (UM) and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Federation of Malaysia

The program will take place from May to September 2024.
