On May 20, 2022, at Lee Garden Plaza Hotel, Hat Yai, Songkhla, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jumphon Chuenjitsiri, PSU Vice President for Legal and Academic Services, officially opened the "PSU Mission Project: Upgrading the use of digital platform technology to Business 4.0", in the presence of the Director of Promotion and Development Group, Office of Local Administration, Nong Bua Lamphu Province, Deputy Director of the Digital Government Development Agency, Director and Deputy Director of the Office of Human Resource Development and Social Mission, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Creative Arts Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, as well as executives, government representatives, teachers and child caregivers from local administrative organizations.
Vice President Jumphon said that PSU emphasizes on developing the manpower to be ready for the digital economy and society in all professions in both government and private sectors, in order to have the ability to create and use the digital technology intelligently. The PSU Mission Project has the main goal to promote the adoption of 4.0 innovations to respond to the need of SMEs, Startups and local government organizations.
The main target group of the event was the local government organizations. Participants had the opportunity to increase their knowledge, understanding, and gain new perspectives on applying innovations to improve operations according to the "Thailand 4.0" policy.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mitchai Chongcheawchamnan, Director of the Office of Human Resource Development and Social Engagement, said that PSU implemented the project with the aims of promoting the development of digital platforms that meet industrial applications, supporting and elevating the adoption of digital technology in a sustainable manner, promoting skills development of staff in SMEs, Startups and local government organizations to have knowledge about digital technology, in order to develop, expand networks and create cooperation between the governmental and private sector all over Thailand.
More than 170 participants from over 107 local government organizations attend this event.
