From 4-7 September 2018, PSU organized the yearly 5th ASEAN Week to raise awareness about ASEAN community to the large public and create an intercultural atmosphere among PSU staff and students, by arranging many fascinating activities under the 5th ASEAN WEEK as follows:
- The Special Talk on “The Life and Work of Dr. Thanat Khoman: Founder of ASEAN and PSU” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirilaksana Khoman
- Opening Ceremony of PSU ASEAN Studies Centre
- ASEAN Tourism Exhibition and
- ASEAN Night and International Food Festival
The event was successfully arranged by the PSU ASEAN Studies Centre in cooperation with Student Affairs Office, International Affairs Office, Organization Office, Public Relations Office, Students Administrative Board, and especially supported by the International Students Association.
The event was crowded with many interested visitors, which number noticeably increased comparing with last year’s participation. Moreover, PSU was honored to welcome esteemed representatives from the Indonesian and Malaysian Consulates in Songkhla who always support and participate in the ASEAN Week at PSU since its initiation four years ago.
