Information Technology students at the Faculty of Industrial Science and Technology, PSU Surat Thani Campus, won the Artificial Intelligence Model Concept Contest. The winning team named “Salmonism” received a 50,000 baht scholarship for solving the delivery system problem of Samsub Distributor Limited Partnership, in the topic "Logistics Industry" to develop the potential of artificial intelligence through information networks for Thai industry. The contest was organized by Mahidol University in collaboration with the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission (NBTC), and the Broadcasting and Telecommunications Research and Development Fund for Public Interest.
The team consisted of Ms. Jaruwan Saeia, Mr. Teeraphat Sangchai and Mr. Surat Laodee, while the team was advised by Dr. Kritsada Phuangsuwan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supattra Puttinaowarat, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwan Kajornkasirat, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapon Boonnam.
This project aimed to promote and give students an opportunity to develop their potential in the subject of artificial intelligence, leading to the ultimate goal of upgrading their knowledge of artificial intelligence to international level by emphasizing the work process and professional training.
