On 26 April 2022, PSU executives, lecturers, and staff participated in the conference “Infinitely PSUx”, aimed to create a better understanding of the PSU Transformation project’s future trends, and to foster an inclusive mindset of relevant staff at EILA5, 8th floor, Office of Education and Learning Innovation Prince of Songkla University’s Hat Yai Campus, via Zoom.
The conference included a lecture by Dr. Karndee Leopairote, Futurist & Executive Vice President, Future Tales Lab, on the topic of “Future Vision and Mindset” to demonstrate a future vision of the world and Thailand, a set of human living conditions and environment different from what we currently have. The lecture included key points from future research conducted by Future Tales Lab, alongside the speaker’s own experiences in leading to future adaptation.
Following the lecture, Mr. Charinee Kalayanamit CEO, 5G Catalyst Technologies, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Romyen Kosaikanon, Director, SEAMEO RIHED, explored the topic “The Future of Work, Education and Transformation of Universities” to foster a discussion about how to connect the future and the changes in various sectors, including higher education. The talk emphasized dimensions related to the world of partnerships and sector expectations through direct relevant experiences of the speakers, including the need to change currently prevailing attitudes to adapt to future world constraints.
The conference included self-reflection activities, which prompted participants to identify and share leadership traits and values in order to foster mutual understanding to work together in the future. Participants were also encouraged to share their perspectives regarding the concept of further driving the PSU Transformation project.
