Three distinguished delegates from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huda Haji Ibrahim, Dean of the School of Computing, and two honorable visitors from Indonesia Computer University (UNIKOM), led by Prof. Dr. Aelina Surya, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, visited PSU on March 2, 2015. Our guests were warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ram Yamsaengsung, Assistant President for International Affairs, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences and executives from the faculties of Science and Engineering.
The objective of their visit was to discuss the initiation of collaborative activities among the three universities. At present, PSU has an active cooperation with UUM under the IMT-GT UNINET. During the meeting, specific future MOUs between PSU and UUM and between PSU and UNIKOM were discussed. The possible collaborations among PSU, UUM and UNIKOM concern joint research, students and staff exchange, as well as double degree programs.
