HealthCareCenter

Songklanagarind Hospital opened a check-up center after receiving the Smart Hospital / Smart Health system and intelligent queue cabinet from My Health Group Company Limited, inventors of the application "MY HEALTH FIRST," with additional support for the creation of intelligent queue cabinets from Kasikorn Bank. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Puttisak Puttawibul, M.D., Dean of the PSU Faculty of Medicine, presided over the launch of the Smart Hospital and the opening of the check-up center on February 1, 2019, at B level, Praboromarajchanok Building (100 Years Building), Songklanagarind Hospital.

The check-up center was established in order to increase the quality of health care services offered, aiming to screen and control health risks according to gender and age of patients. After a thorough risk inquiry and assessment, patients with abnormalities are advised to consult a specialized doctor at the Premium Clinic of the hospital. The feature, dubbed “Smart Hospital”, is offered in addition to the already existing service system. Featuring an important and convenient service, the intelligent queue cabinet will also allow patients in the hospital to be able to book a treatment queue no matter where they are located.

In addition, Songklanagarind Hospital initiated cooperation with My Health Group Company Limited to develop the “myHealthFirst” application, involving a diverse team of doctors and engineers from Prince of Songkla University, Bangkok Hospital (Hat Yai) and Hat Yai Hospital. The application will maintain a database of treatment history and health examination information, and it will be the world's first application that uses artificial intelligence technology (A.I. in Health Care) evaluating food intake, exercise, lifestyle, blood test results and physical examination to create health advice via smartphone, by using voice commands or taking pictures. The recommendations from the A.I. system and doctors are automatically recorded, along with the treatment results from the hospital operating system (HIS), allowing a more convenient and productive use of hospital’s services. This health care system targets two main groups:

          1) healthy people, to confirm their good health,
          2) ill people, to check the accuracy of their diagnostics, and to encourage them to take their medication regularly, to reduce the chances of complications, and to have an online history available in case of emergency.

In the future, "myHealthFirst," the Ultimate PHR application will be of significant help in public health care, along with applications for the public health industry of Thailand, in order to facilitate the implementation of the government's Health Care Thailand 4.0 policy to create good health for all residents of the kingdom.
