Prof. Dr. Shimada Shinju, UY President, paid an official visit to PSU on 26-28 June 2017, in order to discuss academic collaboration between the two universities. PSU and UY have signed an MOU and Student Exchange Agreement in November 2018. PSU sent one student from the Faculty of Management Science to conduct cooperative studies at UY for three months. In turn, PSU offered a scholarship to one UY student for participating in the Authentic Thai Camp that will be held in August 2019.

       After paying a courtesy call on Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, PSU President, the delegates visited the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Management Science in order to explore potential collaboration in related areas. Discussions at each faculty mainly focused on student exchange, since both universities have agreed to increase the number of exchange students. The Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Medicine in particular showed considerable interest in participating in student exchange programs with UY for internship and practical training.
