Asst. Prof. Thakerng Wongsirichot, PSU Vice President for International Affairs, attended the 2018 SATU Presidents’ Forum General Assembly and Steering Committee from 16-17 November 2018, at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan.  The theme of the meeting was “Cultivating Culturally Competent and Globally Engaged Talents.” The event focused on training future leaders in agriculture, engineering, and medicine to be more effective in engaging with culturally diverse people worldwide.

Three keynote speeches were delivered by three expert keynote speakers during the event. The titles of the presentations are “Arising Professional Challenges for Young Scholars”, “Advancement of Medical Care & Role of University-Industry Collaboration”, and “Challenges and Opportunities of Leveraging Industry Linkages in Fostering the Endeavours of Higher Education Institutions – Perspective of India and South Asia”. 

As a member of this network, PSU gains benefits in various kinds of academic activities, such as staff and student mobility, joint research and network strengthening with the other member institutions.
