A delegation from Quy Nhon University (QNU), Vietnam, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Anh, Rector, visited PSU from September 22-26, 2013. They made a courtesy call on Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, PSU President, on September 23, and the faculties of Engineering, Science, and Environmental Management in Hat Yai Campus in order to discuss the future collaboration between our universities. They also visited the PSU Central Library and student dormitories building. The short term collaborative activities discussed during the visit are the lecturer and student exchanges in the field of petrochemical engineering and environmental engineering, training programs in Thai language for QNU students, and etc.
After discussions, QNU representatives expressed their wish to develop 2+2 bachelor’s degree programs jointly with PSU in the fields of Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Management, and Hospitality and Tourism Management.
From September 24-26, our distinguished guests visited the PSU Phuket Campus and discussed even more collaboration in the hospitality and tourism management area.
