On February 9, 2015, the PSU Faculty of Law has signed an MoA with the Faculty of Law, UNPAS, with the major goal to develop a program together, and to improve the ASEAN Legal Studies Program (ALS). This will present a good chance for PSU students at the Faculty of Law to study at qualifying universities in the region and graduate within the same time frame (4 years). The ASEAN Legal Studies Program will give an advantage to PSU students competing in the region’s labor market.

At the same time on February 12, 2015, the PSU Faculty of Law has signed an MoA with the Faculty of Law, UNISSA, the only national law school of Brunei. The Brunei government emphasized the importance of this partnership, because this agreement is the first faculty-level collaboration at UNISSA, and the importance of law is quite a sensitive issue. Under the agreement, each year five PSU students from the Faculty of Law will go to UNISSA for one semester (summer) to receive a "Brunei Legal System" certificate by studying Sharia Law (including Islamic Finance), Criminal Law, and Business & Commercial Law. The result of such cooperation is also part of the preparation of The ASEAN Legal Studies Program.
