Dr. Lhamo Sherpa, a leader of the Sherpa ethnic group in the Nepal Himalaya, and alumna of the PSU Epidemiology Program, has announced that she is joining the rescue team from China, working with doctors who are also alumni of the PSU Epidemiology Program. They are Dr. Xu Lin, Dr. Xu Wen, Mr. Yang Cangjiang and Mr. Li Jianyun

In addition, another former PSU student has been selected by the Chinese government to join US-CDC in polio control in Pakistan, currently participating in the Ebola eradication program in West Africa.
