A PSU delegation, including two staff members and 10 students, had the great opportunity to visit Guangdong University of Technology (GDUT), P.R. China from May 18-31, 2015. The delegates were warmly welcomed by Prof. Zhang Li, GDUT Vice President, and team. This visit was part of the Cultural Exchange Program under the MOU Addendum 2015-2016 between the two universities.

During 14 days, the PSU delegates learnt much about the precious Chinese culture through enjoyable activities such as Chinese language and cognitive course, Chinese Calligraphy and Painting lesson, Chinese folk dancing class, Chinese-Thai exchange student discussion and outdoor social activity with Chinese students. Apart from the activities at the university, students also could explore more about the Chinese way of life thru activities outside the university like Guangzhou one-day tour, Southern China Botanical Garden and Provincial Museum visits. On May 27, PSU and GDUT students have demonstrated the magnificence of their country’s art and culture during the Chinese-Thai Cultural Arts Gala and they received a great feedback from the captivated audience.

This program was successfully completed, with all activities bringing a great benefit to the Thai and Chinese students, who could learn more about each other’s culture, teaching approach and academic environment, exchange their opinions and make new friendships.
